Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager will lead critical accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring accurate close processes, regulatory compliance, SOX readiness, and continuous improvement across the finance organization. role calls for a technically strong accounting leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of complex issues, and proactively drives process improvements with minimal oversight. This requires 3 days onsite in the Bay area. + Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and audit readiness. + Oversee core accounting functions, including general ledger, reconciliations, treasury, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, equity accounting, and SEC reporting support. + Drive SOX compliance, internal controls, risk management, and accounting policy development. + Partner with auditors, consultants, and business stakeholders to strengthen compliance and operational effectiveness. + Support systems implementations, process automation, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scalability and efficiency. + Serve as a trusted resource on accounting procedures, controls, and best practices across the organization. + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. + Strong knowledge of U. .
