ACCOUNTING RECONCILIATION SPECIALIST

 ***$1,000 Sign-on Bonus After Successfully Completing 90 Days***  

Summary:

Messerli Kramer, a trusted Twin Cities law firm since 1965, is looking a full-time ACCOUNTING RECONCILIATION SPECIALIST to join our Accounting team in Plymouth, MN.

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Reconcile bank statements
• Investigate and resolve variances
• Support month-end and Year-end closing process
• Depositing cash and physical checks 
• Work assigned accounting queues
• Identify and implement process improvement
• Any additional tasks assigned by management

Required Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Degree in Accounting preferred, but not required
• 2+ years working accounting experience
• Experience with Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)

• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• An ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivation

In addition to our regular background check and drug screen, this position also requires successful completion of a credit check.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This role operates in a professional office setting, routinely working with standard office equipment. Generally, due to the nature of this office position, the person in this role would be required to talk and hear, sit or stand for long period of time, and use their hands and fingers, to handle and feel. Occasionally required to walk, reach with arms and hand, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, or crouch. Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Vision abilities required by the job include close vision.

Wage Disclaimer: The starting wage for this position is $19.00-$24.00/hour.
