Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments for inpatients and identify nutrition-related risks
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans and diet prescriptions
- Recommend medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and monitor patient outcomes; adjust plans as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and multidisciplinary teams to support patient care and discharge planning
- Document nutritional assessments, plans, progress, and interventions in the electronic medical record (Cerner and CBORD)
- Educate patients and families on diet plans, therapeutic meals, and lifestyle adaptations to support recovery

Requirements
- Active Registered Dietitian license in California and RD certification
- Clinical nutrition experience in an inpatient or hospital setting preferred
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or Nutrition with completion of an ACEND-accredited supervised practice program
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, dayshift (8-hour shifts)
- Proficiency with Cerner and CBORD or willingness to learn
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
