Payroll Tax Specialist

Focus Search LLC is recruiting for a Payroll Tax Specialist with a global logistics company in Seattle. This role will support accurate, timely, and compliant payroll tax processing and reporting across multiple jurisdictions. This position is responsible for payroll tax filings, reconciliations, tax compliance, year-end reporting, audit support, and maintaining payroll tax configurations while partnering closely with Payroll, HR, and Finance teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong payroll tax knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations in a complex, multi-state environment. Primary Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1-3 years of payroll tax, payroll accounting, or related experience. Experience supporting multi-state payroll tax filings Working knowledge of payroll tax regulations and filings, including Forms 941, 940, FUTA, SUTA, and SUI.
