Human Resources (HR) Business Partner

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to provide strategic and hands-on HR support for a growing organization in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This Contract position will work closely with leaders and employees to strengthen people practices, support business goals, and foster a productive workplace culture. The ideal candidate brings a consultative mindset, sound judgment, and the ability to guide a wide range of HR initiatives with consistency.Responsibilities:• Collaborate with department leaders to align human resources priorities with operational goals, staffing needs, and organizational growth plans.• Provide guidance to supervisors and managers on employee relations matters, workplace concerns, and performance-related discussions while promoting fair and consistent practices.• Support hiring efforts by assisting with recruitment activities, onboarding coordination, and strategies designed to improve employee retention.• Interpret and apply federal, state, and local employment regulations to help maintain compliance across HR programs and daily practices.• Contribute to the administration of compensation, benefits, and HR policies while recommending practical improvements that reflect current best practices.• Design, coordinate, or deliver training and engagement initiatives that help strengthen employee development and workplace effectiveness.• Review HR data and key workforce metrics to identify trends, highlight opportunities, and recommend process enhancements.• Assist with investigations, documentation, and follow-up actions related to employee relations issues in a timely and thorough manner.
