Job description

Strong in Redhat Linux platform with good administration skills.
Experience in CI/CD pipeline development with tools such as Git/GitHub, Jenkins
Basic and Advanced system administration and troubleshooting on RedHat Linux
Experience in regular operating system Patching and vulnerability remediations.
Experience in Linux System hardening and Non-Compliance remediation.
Clustering knowledge, Disks and LVM Management on RHEL
Experience in automation scripting knowledge in shell scripting, Perl.
Excellent knowledge of database technologies and web servers.
Experience in Installation, administration, implementation, testing and maintenance of complex and heterogeneous networks consisting of Linux OS.
Experience in working on Terraform, GIT, VMWare, MQ, Nutanix AHV/HCI for Mission Critical and Enterprise applications.
Extensively worked on Installation, Configuration, Patching and Maintenance.
Proactive and reactive problem identification and rectification/resolution
Experience with engineering best practices to include analyzing, designing, developing, and deploying and supporting software solutions and/or infrastructure implementations/upgrades.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Strong sense of ownership and the ability to work with a limited set of requirements.

Creating patterns of automation for CI/CD, infrastructure deployment, maintenance, monitoring, security and compliance as well as partnering with other enterprise teams, using industry and enterprise standard methodologies.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage virtualization platforms, such as VMWare, HCI, or Hyper-V. They should understand TCP/IP, Active Directory, NTP, DNS, and DHCP, among others.
Install new Linux OS releases, configure, upgrade, patch, and secure servers.
Implements comprehensive solutions utilizing working relationships across the enterprise.
Designs, organizes, and executes high impact solutions across teams both within and outside their division.
Establishes, aggregates, and shares enterprise standards and best practices.
Mentors and guides junior engineers within respective divisions.
Ensures production stability, monitoring, and root cause analysis is completed for their products.
