Job Description

Job Purpose : Provides support to the Director of Imaging and Medical Director of Imaging. Coordinates the office staff throughout the Imaging and Cardiopulmonary departments. Coordinates scheduling of all invasive procedures throughout the Imaging department. Maintains updated CPT codes for Imaging billing. Oversees the Imaging portion of our hospital information system support to the Director of Imaging and Medical Director of Imaging. Coordinates the office staff throughout the Imaging and Cardiopulmonary departments. Coordinates scheduling of all invasive procedures throughout the Imaging department. Maintains updated CPT codes for Imaging billing. Oversees the Imaging portion of our hospital information system.

Education Possesses a AAS Degree in Secretarial Science with Medical Terminology knowledge or equivalent education or equivalent experience.

Experience: Possesses two years prior secretarial experience and one year experience in Radiology. Must be able to function well in an area of high-volume work and handle stressful situations effectively.
