Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental and emotional health, ensuring a thorough understanding of their unique needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments, aligning therapeutic interventions with clients' goals.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions tailored to clients of all ages, addressing a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress.

• Lead couples therapy sessions focusing on effective communication, conflict resolution, and relationship enhancement.

• Regularly review and adjust treatment plans as clients progress through therapy, adapting strategies to meet evolving needs and challenges.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, including progress notes, treatment plans, and case histories, ensuring compliance with all confidentiality and legal standards.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create a cohesive approach toward patient care, partnering with other healthcare professionals as necessary when clients present multifaceted challenges.

• Provide crisis intervention when required, offering immediate support to clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies.

• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with advancements in marriage and family therapy best practices and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Silver Lake Behavioral Health, you will work with a diverse client population, including adolescents, adults, and couples from various backgrounds. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field is mandatory.

• An active, up-to-date license as a Marriage and Family Therapist issued by the State Board is required.

• Proven experience providing individual therapy and/or couples therapy, showcasing a robust understanding of therapeutic frameworks.

• Experience working with both children and adults is a plus, enhancing the versatility of your therapeutic approach.

• Strong organizational skills for maintaining timely documentation, including assessments and treatment plans, within our electronic health record system.
