Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough bio-psychosocial evaluations to identify patients’ needs, barriers to treatment, and opportunities for enhancing mental well-being.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based approaches, accommodating both individual and group therapy modalities.

• Provide ongoing consultation to educational and medical staff regarding students’ psychosocial history and needs to build a comprehensive support framework.

• Document all social work activities, interventions, and patient progress accurately in their electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatments, fostering a deeper understanding of mental health recommendations.

• Advocate for students’ social and community resources while facilitating access to services that support their academic and emotional growth.

• Engage in continuous professional development and training, staying updated on the latest best practices and community resources relevant to adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily focus on providing mental health services to children and adolescents within the school environment. You will address a spectrum of psychosocial difficulties, including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and other mental health issues that can impede academic performance and personal development. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution and a valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license from the State of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
