Every other weekend and every other holiday required. No call required. Highlights: Patient ratios of 1:4-5 on night shift in a 27-bed specialty unit Case mix includes nephrology, urology (surgical and non-surgical), benign hematology, and medical/surgical patients Epic electronic medical record system utilized throughout the organization Float opportunities to other units within the healthcare system as needed Comprehensive orientation of 48 hours provided Free parking available for all staff Requirements: Minimum 2 years of registered nursing experience required Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license in hand at time of application) Epic EMR experience required Skills required: IV insertion, telemetry monitoring, intermediate care, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, chemotherapy monitoring, non-invasive airway management, and peripheral line care/management Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only) Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership position) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work with a diverse patient population in a specialized unit with excellent interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, rapid response teams, and pharmacy services.
