Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop tailored therapeutic strategies for clients, ensuring the best outcomes through individualized treatment plans.

• Provide therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short-term counseling, to individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, complying with all legal and ethical standards to protect client confidentiality.

• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals to coordinate care and share insights about client progress and treatment adjustments.

• Participate in ongoing professional development workshops to stay current with advancements in mental health practices and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LPC at Inland Counseling Center, you will serve a diverse clientele, primarily focusing on individuals and families from underprivileged backgrounds with limited access to mental health resources. You will address various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues, through a culturally competent lens.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Tennessee.

• A minimum of two years of proven experience in a counseling role, particularly in a clinical environment.

• Strong understanding of the legal and ethical standards relevant to the counseling profession.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a healthcare team, contributing to client care and team objectives.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software and other related technologies.

Preferred Experience\n
