Air Import Specialist – International Freight Forwarding – Charlotte, NC (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage air import shipments from arrival through final delivery (A–Z)
• Coordinate with airlines, overseas agents, trucking providers, and customers
• Prepare and review import documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Track shipments and proactively resolve operational issues
• Communicate shipment updates and timelines to customers
• Ensure all files are maintained accurately within CargoWise
• Support day-to-day air import operations within a team environment

Candidate Requirements

• Strong experience within air import freight forwarding operations
• Proven ability to handle air import shipments end-to-end (A–Z)
• CargoWise experience required
• Strong understanding of import documentation and operational procedures
• Ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and organisational skills
