About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Cyber Security to spearhead the development and implementation of a robust, enterprise-wide cybersecurity program. The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning the cybersecurity strategy with the company's corporate objectives, risk appetite, and digital roadmap. This executive will play a pivotal role in ensuring that cybersecurity is an integral part of business decisions, operational resilience, and digital transformation initiatives. Key responsibilities include leading risk management and compliance efforts, overseeing incident response and resilience, and establishing strong security governance and architecture. The role also involves engaging with the Board of Directors and executive leadership to communicate cybersecurity risks and strategies in a business context. Applicants for the Vice President of Cyber Security position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' experience in cybersecurity, with a proven track record of leadership in global, complex environments. Deep expertise in risk management, security frameworks, regulatory compliance, and incident response is essential, as is experience in manufacturing, chemical, or industrial settings, particularly with a focus on OT/ICS security. The role requires a candidate with strong leadership, communication, and organizational transformation capabilities, who can effectively engage with executives and Boards. A background in M&A integrations, large-scale IT transformations, and industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC is preferred. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner, championing a security-first culture and leading a high-performing cybersecurity organization.
