We are seeking an experienced Licensed Loan Officer Assistant to join our growing team at Home Front Mortgage in the Portland, OR area.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated mortgage professional who thrives in a fast-paced lending environment and is looking for a long-term role with growth potential. We offer a base salary plus commission structure , providing both stability and performance-based earning potential.

What You’ll Do

Support Loan Officers in managing the full loan lifecycle from application to closing
Communicate with borrowers, realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure smooth file flow
Collect, review, and organize borrower documentation
Assist in pre-qualification and pre-approval processes
Monitor loan status updates and help ensure timely closings
Maintain accurate pipeline management in LOS systems
Deliver excellent customer service throughout the mortgage process

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 5+ years of mortgage lending experience (required)
Active licensing as required for Loan Officer Assistant role
Strong knowledge of mortgage guidelines, documentation, and processes
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work in a deadline-driven, team-oriented environment
High attention to detail and strong follow-through
