General Purpose Of Job Performs a variety of routine and complex clerical, administrative, and support duties for the Clerk & Recorder’s Office. Essential Job Functions These duties are illustrative of typical essential responsibilities of the job, and may vary according to assignment. Processes incoming and outgoing mail. Prints, copies, assembles, distributes, and files documents. Processing accounts payable. Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information maintaining confidentiality. Distribute offices supplies, packages, and mail to all program areas. Keeps all supply and work rooms organized and supplied with office products and first aid supplies. Uses computer and specialized software to digitize records, scan and enter data, search databases, conduct research, create documents, send emails, and file electronically. Create, post, and file public notices adhering to state and local statutes. Assists with travel arrangements for staff. Works with the Finance department to print accounts payable and payroll weekly. Answers telephone calls, assesses situations and provides the public and internal customers with directions and other customer services. Assists the Office Administrator in Board of County Commissioner (BoCC) meetings, records minutes, and obtains required signatures. Assists Clerk & Recorder staff with various administrative and support tasks as assigned. Acts as a backup for the Office Administrator as requested. Other duties as assigned.
