About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead its finance and accounting function. The successful candidate will be a key strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership team, with a focus on capital structure, allocation, and long-term financial strategy. Responsibilities include owning lender relationships, debt strategy, and working with operations leadership to enhance cost performance and margins. The role also involves setting the multi-year direction for finance and accounting, building and managing a finance team, and overseeing core financial processes. Experience in food, agribusiness, or manufacturing is essential, as is a background in enterprise-wide financial leadership and a strong analytical skill set. Applicants for the Vice President of Finance position at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar role, with a preference for those who have experience in acquisition-led growth or M&A integration. The role requires a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field, and a proven track record in building or scaling a finance function. The ideal candidate will have a background in food, agribusiness, or manufacturing, and must be based in California with a willingness to travel within the state. Strong analytical skills, clear communication, and the ability to bring independent, rigorous financial judgment to executive decision-making are also key qualifications for this position.
