Cargo Services Supervisor

Responsibilities Responsible for cargo warehousing, including receiving, dispatching and staging airfreight, air mail and other cargo at air freight docks and other cargo facilities; Operating motorized vehicles as related to the operation; Routine cleaning of work areas, ramps, equipment and facilities with or without powered equipment; Overseeing and advising on staffing requirements; Monitoring the quantity and quality of work performance; directing personnel within assigned functional area; Participating in the discipline, coaching, counseling, hiring and termination of subordinates; Training subordinates, ensures compliance with Company rules and regulations, Company standards and contractual agreements; Ensuring budgetary controls and manning requirements; Proactively monitoring the work of assigned employees to ensure that customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality and employee relations meet or exceed standards; Maintains and controls all required aspects of the operation in accordance with the corporate security program and TSA legislation. Requirements Minimum Requirements: Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays and days off. Preferred Skills: Ability to handle stress. Cognitive skills to set priorities and use independent judgment.
