ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for an elementary Life Skills position in Indianapolis, IN. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to support students in a structured special education setting while working alongside a collaborative educational team focused on student growth, independence, and success.

Work Schedule:

• Full-Time

• Elementary School

• Start Date: ASAP

• End Date: End of School Year

Qualifications:

• Active Indiana Intervention Specialist Certification or Special Education Certification required

• Previous school-based special education experience preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

• Knowledge of special education compliance, IEP development, and implementation

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals and Indiana standards

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction based on student needs

• Support students in a Life Skills setting

• Implement appropriate academic, behavioral, and functional interventions

• Support students' academic, social-emotional, communication, and daily living skills

• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation

• Collaborate with families, related service providers, administrators, and general education staff

• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration

• Create a structured, positive, and supportive learning environment
