Supporting the Ottawa Charge's French-language communications, the part-time Canadian Licensed Translator will translate and localize content from English to French, including press releases and marketing materials, while collaborating with various teams across the League. Key responsibilities Translate, adapt, and localize content from English to French for various communications and marketing initiatives Contribute to the Ottawa Charge's French-language content strategy and support bilingual communications Review and proofread French-language content for accuracy and adherence to brand standards Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Translation, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Linguistics, or a related field Native-level proficiency in French and excellent command of English 2-5 years of professional experience in translation, communications, or content creation Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in French Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and travel as required
