Flavors Café, located inside the WSA Building, is looking for an experienced, hospitality-driven Café Supervisor to join the team.

The Café Supervisor will play a hands-on role in overseeing daily café operations, supporting the front-of-house team, and ensuring a consistently welcoming, efficient, and polished guest experience. The ideal candidate has strong café and barista experience, previous supervisory experience, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to join the WSA team and help drive the success of Flavors Café.

Located inside the WSA Building, Flavors Café serves the WSA community within a dynamic 700,000 sq. ft. creative campus where fashion, arts, culture, and technology intersect. We are looking for a Supervisor who is excited to be part of a fast-paced environment and help maintain a high standard of service and hospitality throughout the café.

• Oversee daily café operations and ensure smooth, efficient service
• Lead and support the barista and front-of-house team during service
• Provide hands-on support with coffee, espresso, beverage, and guest service operations
• Maintain high standards for hospitality, service, cleanliness, and presentation
• Coach, train, and support team members on service and operational standards
• Monitor service flow and proactively address guest and operational needs
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and ensure daily checklists are completed
• Ensure proper cash handling and POS procedures are followed
• Coordinate with team members to maintain smooth and efficient service
• Monitor inventory, restocking, and organization of café and service areas
• Help troubleshoot operational issues and escalate concerns when appropriate
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café environment
• Lead by example and foster a positive, collaborative, and professional team culture

• 4+ years of front-of-house experience in a high-volume café, restaurant, fast casual, or hospitality environment
• 3+ years of shift lead, supervisor, or management experience
• Strong barista experience, including experience with manual espresso machines
• Prior experience working in a café, fast casual, or similar high-volume environment
• Prior opening experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Toast POS strongly preferred
• Active NYC Food Protection Certificate
• Strong knowledge of daily café and front-of-house operations
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Warm, polished, and guest-focused approach to hospitality
• Ability to remain calm, organized, and effective in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approach
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to approximately 20 lbs.

• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• Availability between approximately 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM
• Schedule may vary based on business needs
• Immediate start preferred
