We're partnering with a privately held construction company that is investing heavily in its future and looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to take ownership of the accounting function. This isn't a role where you'll inherit a large team or hide behind layers of management—it's an opportunity for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, creating structure, improving processes, and becoming a key business partner to leadership. What You'll Do Owntheday-to-dayaccountingfunctionfromstarttofinish Managemonth-endclose,financialreporting,reconciliations,generalledger,AP/ARoversight,andcashflow Leadallconstructionaccountingactivitiesincluding: JobCosting Work-in-Progress(WIP)Reporting AIABilling RevenueRecognition ProjectFinancialReporting Partnercloselywithoperationsandprojectteamstoensureprojectprofitability Developbetterprocesses,reporting,andinternalcontrolsasthecompanycontinuestoscale CollaboratewithexternalCPApartnersontaxandyear-endactivities Helpbuildtheaccountinginfrastructureforthenextstageofcompanygrowth What We're Looking For 3+yearsofconstructionaccountingexperience Strongunderstandingof: JobCosting WIPReporting AIABilling PercentageofCompletionAccounting ExperienceusingQuickBooks(Enterprisepreferred) Comfortablebeingaone-personaccountingdepartment Provenabilitytobuildprocesses,improveworkflows,andcreatestructure Highlyorganizedwithexceptionalattentiontodetail Someonewhoenjoyssolvingproblemsinsteadofwaitingfordirection Excellentcommunicationskillswiththeabilitytoworkacrossalllevelsofthebusiness The Right Person Is...
