Work Environment This position is remote, providing you with the flexibility to work from home while occasionally engaging in direct services at our hospice center in Naperville, Illinois. You will leverage technology and digital communication tools to ensure seamless interactions with families and create effective treatment plans. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children to identify developmental delays and specific needs. Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), collaborating with families, healthcare providers, and educators. Provide ongoing support and therapy for children and families, tailoring your approach to meet diverse needs and learning styles. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on outcomes observed. Comply with all federal and state regulations, ensuring adherence to ethical and professional standards in social work practice. Establish strong rapport with children, families, and team members to foster a supportive and engaging environment conducive to learning and growth. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily work with infants, toddlers, and their families who are experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. This role is crucial for providing early intervention services that facilitate communication, cognitive, social, and emotional development during the critical early years of a child's life. Your work will directly influence the trajectory of each child's growth, emphasizing skills that typically develop within the first three years. Qualifications A master's degree or doctorate in social work from an accredited institution. Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) through the Department of Public Health in Illinois. A valid driver's license to facilitate travel for evaluations and meetings when necessary. Demonstrated ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to accommodate the unique learning styles of each child. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with children, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Preferred Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in providing early intervention services to children. Proven commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices, which align interventions with the child's everyday activities and routines. Experience with electronic documentation and reporting systems relevant to clinical social work. Compensation and Benefits The starting salary for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 75,000 to 80,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
