Software Development Engineer In TestLocation: Tampa, FLDuration: 6 Month Contract To HirePay Rate: $55HR on C2CInterview Type: Process: Two rounds both next weekSponsorship: No (Must be able to convert without sponsorship)Company Info: Our client is a financial services company that provides clearing, settlement, custody, and risk management services for securities transactions.Special Note: Python based, automation framework, SQL, ETL, and snowflake (just a tool) Java Selenium – good to have, not requiredEssential Duties And Responsibilities:Continuously evaluate solution performance and gather feedback for future enhancements.Design and develop a scalable Python-based test automation framework for validating data pipelines and reportsCollaborate closely with data engineers, product owners, and QA teams to define effective test strategies and ensure comprehensive coverageBuild and maintain test data sets tailored to individual product requirements and make them available to SDETs for functional testingDevelop and maintain automated test scripts for data ingestion, transformation, and output validationPerform in-depth data analysis and validation using SQL across diverse data sourcesIntegrate automated tests into pipelines to enable continuous validation and early defect detectionAnalyze test results, identify root causes, and work with development teams to drive resolutionOptionally support and understand existing Java/Selenium-based test frameworks to ensure compatibility and reuseRequired Skills:.5+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on data and ETL pipelinesSolid experience with SQL for data validation and analysisFamiliarity with version control systems and CI/CD toolsProven proficiency in Python for test automation and scriptingStrong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills
