Product Manager, Positioning Solutions

Role Description

Hexagon’s NovAtel Positioning Division is looking for an experienced product manager to build and grow our Positioning Solutions software services portfolio. This role includes product ownership of our customer-facing software applications, including our Waypoint post-processing software and the NovAtel Application Suite.

As Product Manager, Positioning Solutions, you will be responsible for the vision, roadmap and lifecycle of this software services portfolio:

• Defining the product vision, strategy and roadmap for the software services portfolio.
• Growing Waypoint post-processing revenue by evolving the portfolio’s capabilities, packaging and subscription model.
• Ensuring the NovAtel Application Suite continues to meet customer needs across the full lifecycle.
• Capturing and prioritising market and customer requirements into clear product and market requirements documents.
• Working with engineering to assess technical feasibility and take validated proof-of-concepts through to commercial products.
• Defining the commercial model for our software services to grow recurring revenue.
• Managing the full product lifecycle, including post-launch performance and release planning.
• Partnering with product marketing on positioning, launch and enablement.
• Defining and tracking the product metrics that matter: adoption, retention, recurring revenue and customer satisfaction.
• Traveling for regional and international customer visits and attending industry events.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Computer Science, Geomatics or similar).
• 3+ years of product management experience for software, SaaS or technology services.
• 5+ years of combined experience in product management, software or product development, or commercial roles in GNSS, positioning, geospatial software, or a related technology industry.
• Demonstrated experience taking software or services products through the full lifecycle.
• Working understanding of recurring-revenue and subscription business models.
• Attention to detail but balanced with a high-level overview.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Passion for products that are easy to use.
