Amal Rehab Therapy is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) to join our multidisciplinary team in Los Angeles, California. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to understand patients' medical history and personal rehabilitation goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Maintain a manageable patient load, typically serving between 8 to 12 patients daily, to ensure quality and focused care.
• Utilize cost-effective, research-based treatment strategies that prioritize non-surgical interventions, such as exercise therapy and manual therapy, to improve patient mobility.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment notes accurately in EMR software, particularly WebPT, to maintain clear communication within the care team.
• Provide education and guidance to patients on how to implement lifestyle changes that enhance their physical health and well-being.
• Collaborate seamlessly with other healthcare providers, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nutritionists, to coordinate care and achieve comprehensive patient health goals.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying abreast of the latest physical therapy research and best practices.
• Encourage and motivate patients, fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship that inspires confidence and commitment to their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of individuals experiencing conditions such as orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, post-surgical rehabilitation, and sports-related injuries. Your focus will be on crafting personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique challenges and aspirations of each patient, helping them regain strength, mobility, and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid, active Physical Therapist license in California, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Strong clinical skills with a mastery of a variety of manual therapy modalities and rehabilitation techniques.
• Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, with an emphasis on WebPT for documentation purposes.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working within an outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in developing and executing successful patient exercise programs based on individual assessments.
• Continued education in advanced treatment techniques and modalities, such as dry needling or sports rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
