Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to establish individualized treatment plans that align with patient goals and clinical standards.
• Administer hands-on therapy techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, tailored to the orthopedic needs of patients.
• Communicate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to optimize patient care and recovery.
• Lead patient education sessions to inform patients about their conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously in compliance with legal and organizational requirements, utilizing electronic health record systems.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement projects and contribute innovative ideas to enhance service delivery.
• Mentor and train new staff, students, and other professionals on best practices and how to foster a culture of excellence in patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on orthopedic patients of various ages, including athletes recovering from injuries, post-surgical patients, and individuals managing chronic pain. You will create a welcoming and supportive environment where patients feel empowered in their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.

• Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology as it pertains to physical therapy practices.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient environment is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
