Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Santa Monica, you will work onsite during standard weekday hours, specifically from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Our facility is equipped with advanced technology and resources designed to enhance the rehabilitation process. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of each patient's condition, utilizing detailed assessments to determine appropriate treatment strategies that align with individual recovery goals.
• Develop and implement customized therapy plans that incorporate both short- and long-term objectives, while adapting to changes in patient progress.
• Apply a variety of treatment techniques, including but not limited to, manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and various modalities such as heat, cold, and ultrasound therapy.
• Maintain meticulous records of each patient's treatment progress, ensuring that documentation meets clinic standards and regulatory requirements.
• Educate patients on their conditions, equipping them with home exercise programs designed to encourage active participation in their recovery.
• Stay engaged with patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, providing consistent support and motivation to foster a positive experience and optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, occupational therapists, and other health professionals to ensure comprehensive care tailored to the patient's specific needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with a diverse patient population seeking recovery from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Our center serves a broad spectrum of patients, ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to individuals rehabilitating from surgical procedures, all aiming to restore function and enhance their physical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license issued by the state of California.
• Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology as it relates to physical therapy practices, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, their families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• The capacity to work autonomously while also contributing effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in physical therapy, specifically within an outpatient orthopedic setting, is preferred.
• Experience in sports rehabilitation, post-surgical care, or chronic pain management, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to track patient progress and manage documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
