Full-Time Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist (DPT)

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist (DPT) to join our team at Family First Physical Therapy. In this full-time role, you will play a critical part in our mission to help patients restore their mobility and enhance their quality of life. You will work closely with clients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans, guiding them every step of the way on their rehabilitation journey.

Our state-of-the-art 5,000 square-foot rehabilitation center is equipped with the latest technology and tools to provide superior care. We are dedicated to serving individuals with private medical insurance and take pride in our patient-centered approach, which focuses on individualized attention and evidence-based practices. Our team consists of skilled professionals, including two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), who are committed to delivering exceptional care.

Work Environment

This full-time position requires you to work onsite at our rehabilitation center from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. The collaborative atmosphere fosters continuous learning and development among team members, ensuring that best practices are shared and implemented. Our facility is designed to provide an encouraging environment where you can focus on delivering high-quality therapies while interacting with supportive and skilled colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to understand each patient's goals, limitations, and needs effectively.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, providing focused care and ensuring that treatment plans are tailored to meet their specific objectives.
• Utilize your knowledge in orthopedic outpatient therapy to provide innovative and cost-effective treatments that enhance patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Proactively seek alternatives to medications and surgical procedures to promote long-term healing and rehabilitation.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate a variety of treatment modalities, including exercise therapy, manual therapy, and patient education.
• Design customized fitness and wellness programs that encourage healthy behaviors and align with each patient's rehabilitation goals.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based healthcare interventions while motivating patients to reach their maximum function.
• Promote overall health and wellness by enhancing patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to ensure holistic patient care and seamless communication.
• Regularly monitor treatment progress, assess outcomes, and maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primarily orthopedic outpatient practice caters to a diverse range of patients seeking rehabilitation for sports injuries, post-operative recovery, and chronic pain management. You will work closely with individuals from various age groups, ensuring that each treatment plan is aligned with their unique circumstances and rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A strong professional profile with no history of board or disciplinary action against the license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation strategies.
• Exceptional skill in developing and implementing individualized exercise protocols that facilitate healing and function.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT, enhancing efficiency and patient care documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated success in managing diverse patient caseloads with varying physical therapy needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges between USD 100,000 and 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
