Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist with Anderson Sport and Wellness, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments for each patient to develop tailored treatment plans with measurable goals and time frames.
• Providing one-on-one therapy sessions, utilizing manual therapy, advanced therapeutic exercises, and innovative technologies to enhance patient recovery.
• Documenting patient progress and submitting clinical summaries based on defined goals.
• Collaborating with fellow therapists to create a team-based approach to patient care, sharing clients across schedules as needed.
• Engaging in follow-up communications with existing and potential patients to ensure continuity of care and satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele primarily consists of active individuals, mostly aged 35 and older, including elite athletes and fitness enthusiasts who are highly motivated to participate in their recovery journey. We cater to patients with varying orthopedic conditions and also address vestibular and post-concussion issues. Our ideal patient actively engages in their treatment plan, consistently following home exercise recommendations and making lifestyle changes, resulting in outstanding health outcomes.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A valid California state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting, ideally in orthopedic outpatient care.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques, demonstrating a commitment to continuing education and professional development.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for providing exceptional patient care.
• Ability and willingness to conduct small group fitness classes of 3-6 participants, promoting a holistic approach to patient wellness.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experience is preferred:

• Certification or experience in Pilates, NAIOMT training, or IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization).
• Experience working with vestibular patients or those recovering from concussions.

Compensation and Benefits

Anderson Sport and Wellness offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
