Key Responsibilities

As an Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans addressing each patient's unique challenges, which may include post-surgical rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, chronic pain management, and lower-level neurological concerns.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques in both aquatic and land therapy to facilitate recovery.
• Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary based on patient response.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques, proper body mechanics, and home exercise programs to promote ongoing wellness outside of therapy sessions.
• Document patient care activities comprehensively in accordance with regulatory guidelines and facility policies.
• Collaborate regularly with fellow team members to enhance treatment methodologies and share insights for better patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will encompass a diverse patient population, ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to individuals navigating pre and post-surgical rehabilitation. You will engage with patients experiencing chronic pain and those managing neurological conditions, offering you a rich tapestry of experiences to enhance your clinical skills and therapeutic techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California.

Compensation and Benefits
