Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong therapeutic relationships with patients, understanding their unique goals and challenges.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to develop tailored rehabilitation programs that are evidence-based and goal-oriented.
• Manage a manageable caseload, providing one-on-one physical therapy sessions that prioritize patient engagement and results.
• Implement therapeutic interventions designed to enhance recovery, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and education on injury prevention.
• Monitor patients' progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on their conditions and recovery process, empowering them with knowledge and self-management strategies.
• Document patient interactions and progress comprehensively within the EMR system (preferably WebPT) to maintain accurate records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries or injuries, including but not limited to joint replacements, sports injuries, and fractures. This population often seeks not just relief from pain, but also a return to their regular activities and lifestyles — making your role crucial in their recovery process.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and active Physical Therapist license in the state of California.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, demonstrating a strong commitment to hands-on patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid understanding of therapeutic exercise.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT or similar platforms.
• Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
