Capital Life Orthopedics is seeking a dedicated full-time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Los Angeles, California. Your expertise will enable you to facilitate the processes of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for your patients.

About the Organization

At Capital Life Orthopedics, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality care in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Our state-of-the-art facility spans 5,000 square feet and is designed to support advanced sports medicine treatment. You will collaborate closely with a dedicated team that includes two skilled physical therapists and a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). Together, we strive to provide an enriching environment conducive to patient recovery and rehabilitation.

Work Environment

This position is based entirely onsite within our modern facility, reflecting a commitment to face-to-face patient interactions that foster trust and camaraderie. Our work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. We focus primarily on patients who have private medical insurance, ensuring that our services are accessible to those who need them most.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with patients to understand their unique goals and recovery needs, employing comprehensive assessments.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized and focused treatment sessions.
• Utilize your experience in orthopedic outpatient care to deliver effective evidence-based interventions.
• Design and implement cost-effective treatment strategies that prioritize improved motion and mobility.
• Minimize the use of medications by exploring and advocating for non-surgical alternatives.
• Create customized care plans incorporating a wide variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's requirements.
• Develop fitness and wellness programs that align with patients' specific health concerns and activity levels.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their recovery journey to optimize their functional abilities.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Objectively evaluate treatment effectiveness and monitor patient progress, ensuring open communication with all stakeholders.
• Document all services provided to ensure accurate patient records and compliance with regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adult patients seeking rehabilitation from orthopedic injuries, sports-related traumas, and post-surgical recovery. Your approach to treatment will focus on empowering individuals to lead healthier and more active lives while emphasizing functional independence and quality of movement.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this role.
• Must hold an active Physical Therapist license in California, with no disqualifying board actions.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques and the design and implementation of exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, preferably WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting greatly preferred to effectively address the needs of our patient population.
• Demonstrated success in customizing treatment plans that improve client mobility and prevent complications.
• Strong interpersonal skills that foster positive relationships with patients and interdisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to financial compensation, our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, supporting your professional and personal well-being.
