We are seeking a Manufacturing Controller at our Glendale Heights facility reporting to our Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis. As our Manufacturing Controller owns the plant's cost accounting, financial reporting, and margin analysis, and partners directly with Operations leadership to translate plant performance into financial results.

What you will do...
• Standard costing: build, maintain, and analyze standard costs (material, labor, overhead); lead variance analysis (PPV, usage, labor, overhead absorption)
• Monthly close and forecasting of plant financial results
• Annual budgeting process for the facility
• KPI dashboards and monthly variance reporting
• Inventory controls and the cycle counting program
• ROI analysis for capital spending requests
• Monthly financial presentations to Corporate Leadership
• Partnering with department managers on P&L interpretation and cost optimization
• Site-level financial audits and year-end inventory/external audit engagements
• Capital project tax abatement tracking and R&D/trial cost documentation

What you will bring...
• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years in a manufacturing/plant financial role, with hands-on standard costing and variance analysis experience - food or CPG manufacturing a plus
• ERP proficiency (IFS a plus, not required)
• Strong Excel/analytical skills; comfortable building models and dashboards from scratch
• Ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance managers and influence cross-functionally
• Project management skills - able to juggle close, budgeting, and ad hoc requests under deadline

Target Base Salary: $120,000 - $145,000 annually, plus eligibility for a 10 % annual performance bonus.
