Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular OR Surgical Technologist – Georgia

Start Date: October 5, 2026 (following successful completion of privileging process)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day shift with call rotation. Call consists of 1 weekday per week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks (subject to departmental needs). Weekend coverage required during scheduled call rotation only. Float requirements within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed.

Highlights:

• Specialized cardiovascular, vascular, endovascular, and thoracic surgical cases including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, VATS, aneurysm repairs, and carotid procedures
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred; heart transplant experience highly preferred
• Epic charting system in use
• 1:1 patient ratio with interdisciplinary support including respiratory and interpretation services
• Contract length options available (8-26 weeks) with time-off allowances based on assignment duration
• Privileging process required approximately 120 days prior to start date; orientation hours provided based on contract length

Requirements:

• Active certification: CSFA, NBSTSA, or NCCSA (required)
• Current ACLS, BLS, and RNFA certifications
• Minimum 2 years of surgical technology experience
• Cardiac, vascular, endovascular, and thoracic experience (required)
• Proficiency in procedures including coronary artery bypass grafts, valve replacements, aortic repairs, carotid endarterectomy, TAVR, VATS, and ventricular assist devices
• Georgia or Compact state licensure required at time of submission
• Full compliance documentation required; must be completed by Tuesday prior to start date
• First-time travelers accepted
