Technical Business Analyst (HCM)

OverviewWe are seeking a Technical Business Analyst (HCM) to support a large-scale Human Capital Management (HCM) transformation initiative as part of a major enterprise integration effort. This individual will play a key role in gathering requirements, documenting business processes, partnering with technical and functional teams, and supporting the migration from a legacy HCM platform to a modern cloud-based HCM solution.The ideal candidate will have experience supporting HCM implementations or migrations, strong business analysis skills, and the ability to work closely with HR, Payroll, IT, and vendor teams to bridge business requirements with technical solutions.ResponsibilitiesPartner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, IT, and project stakeholders to gather and document business and technical requirements.Facilitate requirements workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder interviews.Create and manage user stories, functional documentation, process flows, data mappings, and acceptance criteria.Analyze current-state HCM processes and help define future-state workflows.Support large-scale HCM migration efforts, including data conversion, integrations, testing, and cutover activities.Document business rules, data requirements, and system dependencies.Coordinate with technical teams to ensure accurate translation of requirements into system solutions.Assist with system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), defect management, and validation activities.Identify risks, gaps, and process improvement opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.Provide clear communication and status updates to project leadership and business stakeholders.*Please note: This is position requires 3-4 days onsite/week in the Vinings area of Atlanta.
