Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately identify clients' needs, preferences, and goals.

• Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused techniques.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, adapting approaches to meet diverse client backgrounds and mental health conditions.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups to provide clients with coping strategies and community support.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to coordinate holistic care for clients.

• Offer crisis intervention services and immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring client safety and stabilization.
\n
• Educate clients on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available resources within the community.
\n
• Maintain up-to-date, confidential documentation in compliance with state and federal legal requirements.

• Actively participate in supervision, peer consultations, and ongoing training to remain current with developments in mental health care.

• Utilize an electronic health record (EHR) system to document client interactions and treatment progress accurately.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will include individuals experiencing a range of mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. You will be working with clients from various walks of life, which enriches the therapeutic environment and offers a broader understanding of different cultural perspectives on mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LPCC in the state of California.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough mental health assessments and construct effective treatment plans.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy to clients of diverse backgrounds.

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and empathy skills necessary for building rapport with clients.

• Strong professional boundaries, sound ethical judgment, and commitment to client confidentiality.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems and general computer applications.

• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team and a collaborative approach to mental health care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to USD 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
