Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a Level II Trauma Center in Santa Rosa, California. The position involves providing expert critical care to diverse patient populations within the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), Neuro Intensive Care Unit (Neuro ICU), Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU), and Trauma Intensive Care Unit (Trauma ICU). Candidates must bring their California license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Santa Rosa, California
• Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Schedule: Nights, every other weekend, and willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) required
• Required Qualifications: Valid California license in hand; ACLS and BLS certifications; 2 years of ICU experience; trauma level II experience; Epic charting system experience; experience with a broad range of ICU procedures and management, including arterial line management, chest tube insertion/removal, ventilation management, and post-surgical patient care.
• Additional Information: Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and forfeiture of guaranteed hours. Must include RTO at time of submission. References required: two references covering one year within the last three years, which may include Charge RNs or Lead Travelers.
