Registered Nurse (RN) – MICU

Location: Cleveland, OH 44111
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night | 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Schedule: 3x12 Hours | 36 Hours/Week
Start Date: 10/23/2026
End Date: 01/22/2027

Pay Rate:
Local: $50–$53/hr
Traveler: $50–$53/hr

Required Qualifications:

• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license in hand — Required
• Minimum 18 months of recent Critical Care/ICU experience — Required
• 18 months of permanent ICU experience — Required
• AHA BLS certification — Required
• AHA ACLS certification — Required
• NIHSS certification — Preferred
• Recent ICU/Critical Care specialty reference required
• Strong critical-thinking, assessment, and clinical judgment skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced critical-care environment
• Willingness to float to all three ICUs and Emergency Departments for hold coverage

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the MICU
• Perform thorough patient assessments and continuously monitor patient conditions
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Monitor hemodynamic status, vital signs, laboratory results, and other critical-care indicators
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergency situations
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Follow infection prevention, patient-safety, and critical-care standards
• Provide education and support to patients and families
• Float to other ICUs and Emergency Departments for hold coverage as required
• Follow hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
