Work Environment In light of our commitment to flexibility and accessibility, this position will be entirely remote. Our telehealth platform allows you to connect easily with clients from the comfort of your own home, ensuring that you can provide care without the challenges of traditional commuting. The work environment is collaborative, with regular team meetings and case consultations to foster professional growth and ensure a cohesive approach to patient care. Although you will primarily work independently, support from colleagues and supervisors is readily available. Key Responsibilities Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to accurately identify patient needs and risks, utilizing standardized assessment tools where appropriate. Develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, integrating evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy. Provide therapeutic interventions to clients, including individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring a supportive and non-judgmental atmosphere. Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups aimed at discussing prevalent mental health issues and promoting communal support. Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary team members to provide holistic care and coordinate treatment strategies. Manage crisis situations effectively, offering immediate support and intervention strategies to patients during mental health emergencies. Educate patients on mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their recovery journey. Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately and confidentially, following legal and ethical guidelines. Participate actively in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to enhance skills and stay current with advancements in mental health practices. Patient Population / Client Focus The clients you will serve range widely in backgrounds and experiences, including individuals, couples, families, and specific populations struggling with mental health challenges. You will focus on creating a therapeutic alliance where patients feel safe and understood, enhancing their engagement in the therapeutic process. By addressing both acute and chronic mental health issues, you will play a crucial role in transforming lives and supporting the community’s overall mental health. Qualifications A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required. Possession of a current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas is essential. Demonstrated knowledge of various mental health disorders, therapeutic methods, and evidence-based interventions. Experience conducting thorough mental health assessments and devising effective, patient-centered treatment plans. Previous experience providing therapy to diverse populations in both individual and group settings is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach are critical for building rapport with patients. Exceptional judgment, ethics, and adherence to confidentiality and professional standards are expected. Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a comfort level with telehealth technologies are necessary. The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team framework is a must. Preferred Experience Experience working in a remote setting and knowledge of telehealth best practices. Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and methods. Prior involvement in community outreach programs or services aimed at enhancing mental health awareness and accessibility. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
