Vice President for Research and Sponsored Programs

The client is seeking a Vice President for Research and Sponsored Programs (VPRSP) who will report to the Provost/Executive Vice President. This senior leadership role involves developing and implementing a vision to enhance the research enterprise within the institution. The VPRSP is responsible for advising institutional leadership on research strategy, policy, investment, and risk, and will represent the client internally and externally regarding research, scholarship, creative work, and innovation. Key responsibilities include providing strategic oversight for the research activities across the university and ensuring alignment with the overall goals of the institution. The role requires collaboration with various departments to promote a culture of research and innovation. The individual will play a pivotal role in shaping research policy and strategies, facilitating interdisciplinary research, and securing sponsored programs to strengthen the university's research capabilities.
