Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Labor and Delivery \n Discipline: RN \n Start Date: 09/21/2026 \n Duration: 13 weeks \n 36 hours per week \n Shift: 12 hours, nights \n Employment Type: Travel \n \n \n Candidates residing within 50–100 miles of the facility may be subject to a reduced rate or may not be accepted. \n Applicants must have worked in this unit or setting within the past year to be considered for this position. \n \n Job Title\n Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery Location\n Greensboro, NC | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type\n Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays Scheduled as Needed Key Responsibilities\n \n Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients in a high-acuity Labor and Delivery setting on an 18-bed unit \n Float as needed to Mother Antepartum Unit (MAU), Mother Baby Unit (MBU), and OB Special Care (OBSC) \n Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management \n Operate Triton and SurgiCount systems as part of patient care protocols \n Complete a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed) prior to assignment start \n Complete unit-based orientation modules (non-billable, averaging 2–4 hours) \n Required Qualifications\n \n Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission \n Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience \n BLS , ACLS , and NRP certifications required \n EPIC EMR experience required \n Must pass a compliance EKG exam prior to starting assignment \n Must not have any open background check cases \n Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; current driver's license required to verify address \n Preferred Experience / Skills\n \n AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred \n Experience with high-acuity laboring patients \n Familiarity with Triton and SurgiCount systems \n Why Join Us\n \n First-time travelers are welcome — a great opportunity to launch your travel nursing career in a supportive Labor and Delivery environment \n Gain experience across multiple OB units through float opportunities within a large health system \n \n \n \n Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 776976.
