Estimator Position

The Estimator is mostly responsible for providing stock door system program estimates and occasional custom door system estimates which are driven by architectural plans and specifications. This position will coordinate project information into material orders sending on to be processed into sales orders. Maintains communication with vendors, salespeople, customer contacts, and plant divisions. This is an office position located in Green Bay, WI.

Responsibilities:

• Provide material estimates requested by sales/customers.
• Meets deadlines and scheduled delivery dates.
• Provide detailed submittals for projects requiring architect's approval.
• Works closely with our customer's Project Managers, Builders and Bay's District Sales Managers
• May need to coordinate with ordering of materials.
• Occasional time in the shop may be needed. Personal protective equipment required.

Qualifications:

• Excellent Math Skills
• Ability to read basic blueprints and/or construction background.
• Microsoft Office (mostly Excel & Word)
• Customer Service and Detail Oriented
• Confidentiality, Flexibility, Great Decision Making and Problem-Solving Skills Required
• Requires at least one year of experience within an office environment.
• Ability to learn and navigate multiple software systems and applications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude a plus.
• Previous estimating experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
• "Division 08 Openings" architectural terminology knowledge a plus.
