School Paraprofessionals & Bus Aides
Location: San Francisco Area, CA

Employment Type : Part-Time to Full-Time

We are seeking dedicated Paraprofessionals and Bus Aides to support students across the San Francisco area. These roles are perfect for individuals looking for consistent daytime hours, a predictable school-year schedule, and a chance to make a direct impact on local youth.

Available Assignments & Hours
We have multiple roles open ranging from part-time to full-time. Please indicate your preference when applying:

Pre-K: 4.5 hours/day (22.5 hours/week)

Elementary School: 5.5 hours/day (27.5 hours/week)

Middle School: 6.5 hours/day (32.5 hours/week)

High School: 6.5 hours/day (32.5 hours/week)

Bus Aides: 8.0 hours/day (40 hours/week)

Bus Aide Schedule Details: You will meet at a centralized location in the morning to ride the school bus to the students' homes, then travel with them to the school. You will work as a classroom aide at an assigned school site during the day, and then ride the bus with the students back home and return to the central location.

Key Responsibilities
Provide instructional, behavioral, and emotional support to students under the guidance of a classroom teacher.

Work with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.

Assist with classroom management, recess duty, and maintaining a safe learning environment.

Support students with special needs to ensure they can fully participate in school activities.

(For Bus Aides) Ensure student safety and positive behavior during morning and afternoon transit.

Minimum Requirements
Candidates must hold a High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND meet at least one of the following criteria:

An Associate Degree or higher

At least 48 completed college units

A passing score on the CBEST (California Basic Educational Skills Test)

A passing score on the local Instructional Aide Exam

Preferred: Previous experience working with children in a school, daycare, camp, or tutoring setting.
