Products include Retirement and Corporate Cash Management sold by both core Advisors as well as specialized channels such as Graystone Consulting or our Morgan Stanley Institutional Investment Advisors. Position Summary:The Outsourced Chief Investment Office (OCIO) is responsible for delivering customized investment management services to institutional and ultra-high net worth clients. The OCIO Business Development team works directly with our OCIO portfolio managers and Morgan Stanley Financial Advisors/Consultants to drive assets under management (AUM) growth.We are seeking a Vice President to join our OCIO Business Development team, with a focus on the Nonprofit client segment. This role is central to driving new business growth, managing the full sales lifecycle, and building strong relationships with institutional clients as well as Morgan Stanley Financial Advisors and Consultants.The Vice President will serve as the primary Business Development coverage for the Nonprofit client segment and will support end-to-end prospecting activities, including managing the Request for Proposal (RFP) process. The successful candidate will be expected to build strong, collaborative working relationships with the Nonprofit Client Segment Head, Portfolio Managers, Financial Advisors/Consultants, and internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to help win, expand, and retain client relationships.Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end business development efforts for Nonprofit clientsDevelop and execute strategies to grow institutional assetsBuild and maintain relationships with Financial Advisors/Consultants, and key stakeholders to support all aspects of institutional sales for the Nonprofit business Drive and manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) processesMaintain a library of content for Nonprofit responsesAssist with preparing and organizing marketing materials for various meetings and eventsParticipate in various prospect meetings and industry events where appropriate – stay current on economic and market developmentsEnsure OCIO nonprofit pipeline is well maintained and up to dateQualifications:Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple senior stakeholdersStrong relationship-building and client-facing skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesResult-oriented and passionate about contributing to the firm’s growth with a desire to succeedStrong decision making, analytical evaluation, risk management, and effective problem-solving skillsHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables simultaneously Experience working with Endowments & Foundations / knowledge of the Nonprofit landscapeMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Bachelor’s degree requiredFINRA Series 7 and 66 is a plus (candidate will be expected to obtain these licenses within 180 days of hire date)Candidate must have 10+ years of experienceWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals.
