Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify their therapeutic needs and treatment goals.
\n
• Provide individual, couple, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment sessions in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) software to comply with HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and participate in regular case conferences to discuss client care and treatment strategies.
\n
• Educate clients about mental health topics and provide resources that support healing and personal growth.
\n
• Ensure that all services are provided in a culturally sensitive manner that respects the diverse backgrounds of clients.

• Conduct telehealth sessions in a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform while remaining accessible for in-person appointments when needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, encompassing children, adolescents, and adults facing a range of mental health challenges. Clients may present with issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and other emotional distress. Our clinic emphasizes a family-centered approach, ensuring that therapeutic interventions are responsive to the needs of entire family units.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or related field from an accredited institution.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT professional license.
\n
• Fluency in both English and Spanish, exhibiting strong written and verbal communication skills for effective bilingual therapy.

• A minimum of two years’ experience in a mental health setting, particularly with children, adults, and families.

• Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity towards different backgrounds and customs.
\n
• Ability to work within diverse teams and environments, promoting inclusive practices.
\n
• Proficiency with EHR systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software tools.

• A valid driver’s license and proof of insurance are required, as the role may involve occasional travel for client meetings.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in areas such as trauma, LGBTQ+ therapy, grief and loss counseling, or perinatal mental health.

• Experience as an in-network provider for insurance panels to ensure comprehensive access for clients.

• Completion of training in HIPAA compliance and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.

• Strong motivation to further develop skills in both individual and group therapy modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
