What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience working with middle school students
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere
In This Role, You Will:
- Develop and deliver lessons tailored to students’ unique learning needs
- Implement and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
- Utilize assessment data to adjust instruction and interventions
- Foster strong family engagement and communication
- Support students in both academic and social-emotional growth
- Participate in team meetings and professional development
