Establishes, revises, and evaluates a plan of care appropriate to identified problems and involves the patient/family. Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills appropriate for the patient’s condition. Oversees activities of physical therapy assistants, students, and other support personnel. Complexity Of Work Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Personal Protective Equipment Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Required Credentials BLS Provider obtained within 3 months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the New York Board of Physical Therapy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education Bachelor’s degree required.
