Job Title: Pharmacy Clerk Address: Cheektowaga, NY Job Description Fill prescription requests accurately and efficiently in an automated refill setting. Manually fill prescription vials with prescribed tablets and capsules. Read computer generated screens, verify medication size and strength before filling orders. Replenish medication in automated cells and maintain workflow to meet daily production goals. Adhere to federal and state HIPAA laws to ensure patient safety and privacy. Maintain the pharmacy floor in a clean and orderly condition. Demonstrate problem resolution skills and maintain focus while performing repetitive tasks. Critical Information Onsite position with mandatory overtime based on business needs. Schedule includes Sunday: 2pm-10:30pm, Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday: 6pm-10:30pm, Friday: 2pm-10:30pm. Climate-controlled environment. Education/Licenses Needed HS diploma/GED or equivalent experience. Pharmacy Tech degree preferred but not required in NYS. Benefits Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment. A 401(k) with company match is available after 1 year of service.
