Accounts Payable Clerk (Data Entry Focus) Location: Irving, TX Schedule: MondayFriday, Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. This role is heavily focused on data entry, invoice processing, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling high volumes of data, and ensuring information is entered accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities Enter and process a high volume of vendor invoices into the accounting system. Review invoices for accuracy and completeness before data entry. Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation. Maintain organized electronic and physical records. Assist with resolving invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries. Update vendor information and maintain accurate account records. Support the Accounts Payable team with administrative tasks and reporting. Work within multiple software systems to ensure timely and accurate processing. Essential Skills Experience in Data Entry Proficiency in using a 10-key calculator. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; an Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred but not required. 13 years of data entry (accounts payable experience NOT required) Work Environment This position is based at a regional headquarters that manages shared service responsibilities for over 40 branches across the United States. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
