Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, tailoring clinical approaches to individual needs.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their specific goals and therapeutic preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting methods to suit the client’s evolving needs.

• Educate clients and their families regarding mood disorders and various treatment options, empowering them to engage in self-care practices essential for recovery.

• Monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans in response to their evolving circumstances.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure an integrated approach to patient care, reinforcing the effectiveness of treatment plans.

• Stay current with advancements in mental health research to enhance therapeutic strategies and improve the quality of care provided.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California is mandatory.
